SES Tlmače gained contract in Turkey

On June 5 this year, the representatives of the joint-stock company Slovenské energetické strojárne (SES) Tlmače signed the contract whose value exceeds 70 million EUR (2.1 milliard Sk) with the Turkish company AKSA ENERJI ÜRETIM A.S. This company belongs to the group KAZANCI HOLDING. The subject matter of the contract is delivery of two boilers for lignite combustion in circulating fluidized bed. As informed by the director of marketing section of SES, Gabriel Sirotňák, the deliveries would be performed until the end of 2010.
Steam from the boilers, each of output of 350 tons steam per hour, will be used for generation of electric power in a new power plant, 2x120 MWe. The power plant will be constructed near the city Goynuk, province Bolu. The power plant will have been taken over by the client in February 2012.
SES Tlmače has won the fifth contract in Turkey during the recent three years, thereof the third contract for boilers with fluidized bed technology. “Turkey ranks among the most important export markets of ours from the point of view of forward order book,” says the general manager of SES a.s. Martin Paštika. Currently, the company is finishing in Turkey the deliveries of a fluidized bed boiler for combustion of lignite, 120 tons steam per hour, for Seydisehir project.
