The Slovak boilermaker SES Tlmače will supply two waste heat boilers for Czech combined-cycle power plant in Počerady for 75 million Euro (2.26 milliard crowns). Thermal output of each boiler is 420 Megawatts. The greatest similar plants manufactured in SES so far, were just of half output.
The end client is ČEZ (Czech Rep.). Last week SES Tlmače signed the contract with Škoda Praha Invest, the general contractor of construction. “Taking-over of both boilers is scheduled for the end of March 2013”, said Gabriel Sirotňák, Marketing Director. ČEZ is going to invest in construction of combined cycle power plants of the same output in other locations, too. “It is a chance for SES Tlmače to be successful also in these tenders”, said Martin Paštika, General Manager. Recently, a contract amounting more than 70 million Eur for delivery of boilers for Turkish power plant has been awarded to the company.
