Minister of Energy and Mines of Republic of Cuba visited SES Tlmače

On 23.3.2017 Alfredo Lopez Valdés – Minister of energy and mines of Republic of Cuba visited SES a.s. Tlmače. Together with the Company management he went to see manufacturing workshops and was informed about progress in work for the project MARIEL U6 unit of 100 MW output currently performed by SES Tlmače in the vicinity of Havana. They also discussed other projects of energy sources modernization in Cuba, where opportunities for SES Tlmače involvement were identified and a basic time schedule of further course of actions was agreed. “In this country it is very important to identify a feasible project correctly and here, we believe, we are adequately experienced in performing projects in Cuba to choose a suitable concept for performance of capital projects”, said Martin Paštika, general manager and chairman of the board of directors of SES Tlmače and added : “The presence of the Minister of Energy at SES is taken as affirmation our Company is regarded by the Cuban party  as a strategic partner for further investment in energy in Cuba.”
